InCommon Sessions at the I2 Fall Member Meeting
InCommon has five sessions slated for the Internet2 Fall Member Meeting, to be held in San Antonio, Texas, October 5-8, 2009. Registration fees will increase after September 4, and the hotel block, at the Hyatt Regency, closes on that date. For complete information about the InCommon sessions, see:

InCommon Community Tops 3.5 Million
InCommon has topped another milestone (the 3.5 million mark), in terms of faculty, staff and students served by the federation. Today, InCommon is a community of more than 3.6 million end users and 163 participating organizations. https://spaces.internet2.edu/x/PwCP

Seeking Proposals for EDUCAUSE Regionals
As part of the InCommon outreach program, and to help increase the visibility of the federation, InCommon is looking for schools interested in submitting proposals for one of the EDUCAUSE regional meetings during 2009-2010. Go here for the details:

Purdue Touts InCommon Participation
Purdue University touted single sign-on, sharing of library resources, and CIC collaborations in announcing the benefits of joining InCommon. The Committee for Institutional Cooperation (CIC) consists of the Big Ten schools, plus the University of Chicago. The CIC has previously announced that all of its member institutions would join InCommon to facilitate collaboration. Read more here:
