On Behalf Of Nick Roy Thanks - you might consider updating the version history, but the note looks good. Nick From:
<> on behalf of Eric Goodman Okay, I added a section at the end of the document called “Post-Release Notes” and added a comment there. I also put a confluence Note in Appendix
C (which talks about the fact that you can’t use BitLocker on a VM-based DC) pointing to the note. Let me know what y’all think. --- Eric From:

On Behalf Of Nick Roy I'd edit the text of the page itself, I think that will be easier for people to find. Nick From:
<> on behalf of Eric Goodman Note as in “reply to the page with a comment”? Or note as in “edit the text of the page to add a new paragraph after the existing document”? --- Eric From:

On Behalf Of Ann West True. Eric, think you could add a Note to the wiki page? Thanks! Ann From:
<> on behalf of Eric Goodman <> I don’t know what the standard for this (updating with a note) is. I’d think at the least it could be added as a comment on the Cookbook’s wiki page. Thanks for noting this, Brian! --- Eric From:

On Behalf Of Brian Arkills I figured it was worth mentioning to our old team that Microsoft just enabled the ability to use bitlocker with Azure based VMs, which would allow
you to get the disk encryption for a DC hosted there, backed by FIPS validated HSMs even.
J That’s a scenario we touched on a couple times and is called out in more general terms
when HyperV is involved in Appendix C. I don’t know if we want to update the doc to reflect this, but I figure it’s worth noting in an email at the least. To: Brian Arkills <>
