Meeting the InCommon Assurance profile criteria using Active Directory

The only suggestion that came to mind is to split the gap column into something like

• Native Profile Support  - AD configuration and practices that are in compliant with the profile.
• AM Proposal  - AD configuration and practices that would need to be submitted to the AAC for review as an AM (I.e.  Are not in compliance like MD4)
• Remaining Gap – methods that can't be address natively or using an AM and may require further discussion with AAC or possibly FICAM.

I’ve updated the scope wiki page and, after connecting with Eric, jumped into edits of matrix page he started. I initially just removed the rows and columns corresponding to out of scope items, but then undertook a refactor of the content. I didn’t have time to complete all the rows. I think I got midway into 4.2.3.6. I retitled the document “IAP Requirements and Gaps for Active Directory Domain Services (AD-DS).”  

 

I may have time to add more material before our next call, but in the meantime please have a look and see if the format is going to meet our needs. Also, feel free to contribute to the table. I’m sure there is a lot more expertise in this group than I have personally.
